Welcome to Duran's Hobby Acres web site and thank you for taking a moment to consider our products and services. Uniquely developed over the past 26 years, our contributions to the market include operating a RETAIL GARDEN CENTER, a WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM and supplying local FARMERS MARKETS.

Growing our own products as well as operating retail and wholesale efforts is challenging but affords us the best opportunity to:

• Support plant enthusiasts across a broad spectrum, including (but not limited to) end users, garden clubs, fundraisers, city governments, property managers, landscapers, hardware stores, garden centers and other independent venues.
• Provide a broad selection of altitude-acclimated products including annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, containers, shrubs and trees.
• Provide supplementary products such as soils, fertilizers and pesticides, garden equipment, and pond plants.
• Be on the cutting edge of new categories and varieties that emerge from the breeders and horticultural specialists nationwide.
• Offer the personal service and quality sometimes lacking in the large chain stores or from the growers who support them.
•  Keep our prices competitive and provide VALUE at every level.

We are centrally located on a four-lane highway (Rte. 287) halfway between Berthoud and Longmont. We tend to support businesses within a 250-mile radius, though we can venture farther. We operate a fleet of trucks capable of negotiating the Rocky Mountain region and adjoining plains.
